Never owned a prismacolor set as way to expensive but I’d love to win this. Heard and watched lots of tutorials on these pencils and they look and sound like a top quality pencil and fun to play around with. I’ve struggled a lot with learning color pencils. I remember loving to color as a child and thought color pencils would be a great re-start. I got frustrated as an adult and shelved my pencils. I recommend you to friends and fellow senior citizen art students whenever possible.

I’d lost my husband of 30 years before the pandemic hit. When he passed, I locked all of my art tools away. This is an awesome set for a giveaway. Prismacolors are still the base set I will go back to achieve specific/dependable results even though I enjoy experimenting with and trying out other brands.
I own only a couple of pencils the Prismacolor and would like to compare these with my Faber Castell Polychromos which have a wonderful feel for coloring and layering. I would love to win this set but never have I one anything in my life so there is always a first. I have always thought Prismacolor‘s were the best colored pencils on the market. After a debilitating incident, through no fault of my own, they came to mean more to me. My husband gave me a set for Christmas both of us thinking I would have a very fast recovery. For a number of years I could only rearrange my pencils as grasping them to use was beyond me. Now 15 years later, I can use them under certain stances that I can control. I love having access as a member to the various tools and artwork. Of course the Prismacolor pages are my favorite. I have a comment regarding background color. There is a Caran Dache of chalkboard chalk out there and it is called Hagoromo Full Touch. It is extremely the most pigmented of chalks on the market. The colors are intense. Just wanted to drop a note. Thank you.

Hi, I have been doing art professionally for more than 20 years but somewhere along the way I went all digital. Recently my wife and I started coloring for a hobby and to destress and move away from the screen for a little while. Your YouTube videos are a great resource for getting back to colored pencils and other non digital media. I love your reviews and how in detail you go with some of the tests.
My name is Shane and me and my boyfriend have loved your channel. We would but things on Amazon like when you did your best budget friendly gel pens. We can’t get enough of your videos and we love the suggestions and tools you use to help others. I have always been a Prisma Color Fan but I have never been able to get the whole set. That would be amazing, and the books too. WOW that would be AMAZING..I Absolutely love the rich pigmented color of the pencils, and I also love the creamy texture, Ohh and I couldn’t forget the fact that you don’t have to apply much pressure at all to get a nice even layer of color..
I love the Prismacolor pencils. I have quite a few of them. Some I bought for myself, but the 70 pencil student set for my grand kids when they live with me.

While my favorite pencil brand varies from project to project, Prismacolor was my first “serious”colored pencil. I used to be so precious about them that I still have stubs of of pencils from the time they were called “Berol Prismacolor”.

I first started to use Prismacolor pencils when they were still called “Berol Prismacolors”. I don’t remember if I started with a small set, but I know that I built my collection bit by bit by buying individual pencils at my college bookstore and later from local art stores. They were really expensive compared to buying something like Crayola (back then I think Prismacolor was THE recommended and favored pencil by artists– at least in the US). I was so precious with them at the time, I still have a few Berol stubs! I bought my first full set when they were Sanfords which I believe had less than the current 150, but used to have other metallic colors like Copper, Metallic Blue, Metallic Green, and Metallic Purple.

I sure do miss being a paying member. Unfortunately, my Multiple Sclerosis, major depressive disorder, anxiety, thyroid problems, migraines, adhd, and neuropathy have taken over my life and finances are practically nothing. Hoping to get approved for disability, but I’ve learned not to hold my breath. Nothing good ever comes my way. Thank you for giving me a much needed outlet to, even if only temporary, allows me to forget all my problems.
I bought my Prismas because Jennifer kept talking about how much she loved them. The books look like they would be just as helpful as the others that I have bought at the shop.
I need more advice. I need advice on how to organize the pencils not arranged in tri-tone.

On my Gosh, I would like so much to try PRISMACOLOR. Living in France makes it impossible to get them in an art store, and here on Amazon those pencils are more expensive than the Polychromos. I am really glad to see the updated Prismacolor Color Wheel Tri-Tone Sets. I have downloaded the old version and filled it out and maybe because I currently don’t have all of the Prismacolor Premier color pencils(still slowly building it) but it seemed a little off to me. Don’t get me wrong, I really liked it and I have a travel set based off of this worksheet. What you showed in your new video looks more like what I would think of for colors on a color wheel. Thank you so much for your hard work. I cant wait to print out the new version and update my travel set (after I go buy the new colors)!

i have a few emotional and physical problems, but when i sit down with paper and prismacolors, i just don’t think of anything but those pencils in my hand and what i can create with them. i don’t even have to draw anything if i don’t want to, i can just start putting down colors and blending them and see what pops out. it’s a calmer world with prismacolors.

The new book looks wonderful! Prismacolor pencils are a great standard coloring pencil that allows for a variety of coloring styles and it’s soft lead allows for those with hands that hurt to enjoy the coloring experience.

l sent word about contest to several friends online – so hope they entered – l said if i win will give pencils to my granddaughter – i have the 150 set a friend gave me and my granddaughter only has the 72 set

I, too, love my Prisma Premier Color Pencil set. Initially, I started with the ones for portrait coloring. Then, invariably, I discovered I needed 2, 3, or 4 more colors. I made umpteen trips to the local art store (Blick’s) and purchased more. I’m almost up to the 150 and don’t regret any one of the purchases. I need another caring case, though. Of course, I’ve purchased so many coloring books, most of them by Johanna Basford. This hobby keeps me out of trouble and I love it!

Currently have no income due to health issues and art is my sanity but my pencils are running low! Crossing my fingers I win!
I would love to feel the joy of winning something. My lifa has been and is hard. Im a single mum, wx nurse, ex athletec finnish born now swedish. I never five up, I’m a fighter. But on top of all I git sick and had to compat for what I beeded. I got severe ME and I am bedbound 95%. There has been no money no friends no energy and constnat pain and loneliness util I rediscovered coloring. Also dabbling in junk journaling . Can only do a few minute at a time when my health permits. But I have joy again ❤️ I boughy some pwncils wtc but I have days I have no energu ro even get yp and beush my treth and a raspycheap pen takes energy. I would looove this price and have soft smooth pens and I will continue learning and practicing and taking advantage of this amazing group! I used ro wake and and feel, oh no not a morning again, and all rhe rhings I must do wven if I am too aick… single mama, no family around and friends puff when I got sick. Bur now I see my little supply of pencils and I smile ❤️

I love Prisma colored pencils, do not have a full set just singles I have purchased. I also just love watching you and Steve I am learning so much.
I was looking at the workbook and it says “requires Academy or higher”… what am I missing? I thought there was only Colorist and Academy (plus free)? Can’t swing Academy this week, but rejoined at Colorist ♡ yall deserve it.. hands down the best coloring site and info/resources out there!
