Alcohol markers are fun
I just purchased the basic 48 set of Ohuhu Alcohol markers in brush and chisel nib. They are supposed to be a beginner set but I don’t know which series. I did purchase them from Ohuhu Amazon. I also noticed the markers I have are not refillable like the regular Ohuhu sets. I would love to win any of these sets and I wish good luck to all!!

Hi 👋🏼 so I just got a vintage set of Berol Prismacolors a 72 set from 1986. I was born in 87 so saying that’s vintage I’m sure hurts more than my lady soul lol. But I am obsessed with my new set of 120 polychromos from Faber Castell. I used to only draw in graphite or mostly charcoal, however around 2020 I thought to myself,” I need color!” And I haven’t looked back. Relearning things I knew in black and white into color sometimes makes my head hurt but it’s always worth it. Thanks for reading my comment and seeing me type blab lol 😂

Another comment? I don’t know what to say now. I said so much in the first comment I’m drawing a blank. I am so upset that they justttttt came out with the 100 inktense pencils by Derwent. I knew they technically had a 100 count but could only find them on eBay for lotsss of 💰 and shipping sky high. So now I have to collect the other 28 😢. I wish they could come out with that exact set. Bc I can’t buy them in a set only open stock 😱 and my 72 set was way too expensive. lol.

I enjoy all your videos. I was scammed into a copic marker scam a year or so ago by a bogus ‘member’ and y’all were so helpful in helping me deal with that humiliation and immediately taking care of that person. He had sent me a bunch of no name, quickly dried-out markers when I was just trying to try out my newly acquired alcohol marker interest, and FB messenger never helped out at all, I was just out all that money.

I was a marker artist since back in the early 80s, but for marker rendered ad layouts. I always thought it should be an art form! I’m so glad to see so many decades later that markers are now being used for so much more art making. Of course all my toxic markers of that era are all dried up, so it’s wonderful to find that there are new alcohol markers available. I look forward to trying these out!

I have 72 Ohuhu markers. The first set I got had damaged tips. I wrote to the company and they replaced them free of charge. That was 4 years ago. They still are still working. Can’t use the damaged point (Honolulu B). But now they are drying up because I’ve used them so much. Time to break out my spare set!

I like the prismacolor and the pigment although I wear them down really quick. I did purchase the Artxx coloring pencils but I am not happy has they are very scratchy, a bit of a let down. Happy Coloring!

Greetings from Middle Tennessee Everyone! Thank you Jennifer & Steve for always being so generous and kind! I love the smaller sets of Ohuhus I have. I wish I’d had purchased them first, before purchasing 2 other Chinese sets of 160+. I was worried about the wrong things when I first found out about alcohol markers. I wanted the most colors for the best price on Amazon I could find. Boy was I wrong!!! I have a set of 48 Ohuhu Pastels and 2 sets of the 96 Pastels and they are my absolute favorite! The double nib brush tips, instead of chisel & small nib, and the smell is almost soapy compared to the other sets I have. Definitely not as strong as my sharpies. I love your videos. I went back to some the first ones you made and showed my students. They loved learning to doodle. They asked if you could do more lessons on doodling. They found you easy to understand and you didn’t rush them. These are middle school students – and we all love your videos.

I am waiting for my ordered PrismaColor pensils, counting the days when they will be delivered, should be somewhere in March. It’s a far journey to the Netherlands where I live.
I am a adict for coloring since October ’23. Have only polychromos and brutfuner pensils and some waterbased markers. But I love to color.

Wauw, what a great giveaway! I loved seeing you color with the Ohuhu’s in the Small Victories coloring book, since we don’t see much people do that. Loved the result as well! I would love to see more video’s in this coloring book with the Ohuhu’s, if possible.

Ohuhu markers were what my son used to illustrate his now published childrens book! I would give them to him if I won, because he needs several replaced after all of the use. He was 15 when he published his second book, so I’m sure he will get plenty of years of use out of his next set of markers, as he’s still young. Thank you for the giveaway!

Getting colouring right has always been difficult for me but you’ve certainly help me figure out the beginning, middle and end of my colouring process now.
