Let’s face it, I love BLING! We’ve made several videos swatching, comparing, and coloring various metallic and pearlescent paints. But this time I have included some paints recommended by some of you. And one of these paint tins costs around $120 for only 12 half-pans! Watch me swatch and compare 14 different beautiful paints, on both white and black paper, to see which one(s) I would recommend you purchase. (One of the cheaper sets surprised us!)

Those Rembrandt Special Effects are gorgeous on white 😍 I’ll stick with my cheap homemade from micas tho bc that price is insane.. Love your work ♡
I have the Kuratake gems… beautiful, after my first experience with Arteza metallic. You did a wonderful review!!! Thank you to both of you!!! You are the “Gems.” Happy New Year and God bless you! With a grateful heart, a California Gramma ❤️
I have Luminarc I think they are called now? They changed their name a few times. I love them! They are sparkly and shiny and they come in big and little pots. They sell them by the colors & they have like 50 or more different colors.
i love the Finetec and Soho metallics best
It’s been great seeing this comparison of watercolors. It helped me decide that I wanted a set of the Gansi Tambi Gems. Fairly reasonable cost & give some nice shine & color on white as well as black paper!
Thank you so much.

I love this video. Great job of comparison. I love my Paul Reubens 48 glitter colors set. I also love all the Kuretake of which I have the complete set. I recently got a mini kit of CSY Gallery in a set of 6 which are very pretty and rather unique colors. I also was inspired to get the 6 color Halloween set in a tiny tin by IUILE. The CSY are much less expensive than IUILE and I think they are really nice on both white and black watercolor paper. I think I might have to pop for the Rembrandt tin. They are so yummy and different.
I also love your swatch books so I definitely need some of those.
