Forever in My Heart – Rose

This is a coloring page I drew of my little Maltese dog “Rose.” We were recently reminded just how special she is to us, so I wanted draw a coloring page in her honor.

I haven’t watched the video yet. I have been going through multiple physical and emotional challenges. I lost my Shorkie Bella 7-21-21. I cried everyday until 3-1-22 when I was lucky enough to adopt a 12 year old rescue, Agatha a Shih Tzu. The moment I saw her I knew. She had a heart murmur they said wasn’t to bad. She just had a kidney infection. 3 weeks in she started having a cough-vet treated for kennel cough. 2 days later back at vet heart medicines. 3 weeks later she collapsed and couldn’t walk back to vet-treated for ear problem. No improvement 2 days later new vet after I borrowed $800 I am going to struggle to pay they gave her a 50-50 chance she was in kidney failure. 3 weeks later she is back, still a little wobbly, not eating the best. We had to force feed her with a syringe. We carried her everywhere. My little angel is back to 98% better. Thank you God and Dix Animal Hospital.

Peace and love for Rosie girl! My doggie dog is my companion and makes me so happy! I can’t imagine a day with out him! When my husband takes him to get his nails clipped I need super distractions until they return!!
I’m wheelchair bound and this dog is the only one who really seems to understand!!! I can understand your anxiety and stress!!! Each of us are different, but pain is pain… it hurts!
I color to help me work through stuff!
My last dog… who I loved so dearly I still get teary when I think of him….
He died unexpectedly…. Heart problem…. So so sad !!!! But…. Right away
I told my husband we needed to get another dog…..
we found a litter of Doxie doggies…went and picked one out and waited for a few weeks until he could be with us! I took a picture of him…. And I drew this little puppy. I worked on the picture every day…. I poured my heart into this picture! I knew every hair on his body by heart!!!
It was amazing! He is my soul companion!!! Heart and soul!!! <3

    Jennifer and Steve,
I was so glad to hear that Rose is okay after that horrific accident! Thank you for sharing her coloring page. I have another friend who has a Maltese named Cookie. That dog sticks to my friend like white on rice. I may just color your page for her next birthday
Thank you for sharing your talents and creativity with the rest of us. You were one of the people who kept me sane during the height of the pandemic. I feel blessed to have had this outlet and to have learned SO much through such a chaotic time.
    God bless you all!

    Oh!! Jennifer and Steve,
I’m so sorry you had to go through such a traumatic experience. I had a little white toy poodle for 12 years. I adopted her when they said she was 2, but the vet said she was 3 so she may have been pushing 15. In the last year of her precious little life she was sick with kidney failure and had completely lost her vision. I finally had to put her to rest and I felt like I killed the thing I loved most in the whole world. This was a year ago now and it still feels like yesterday. I have been through exactly the same emotions including migraines, etc. that you talked about on your video as I’m sure many of you other followers have as well.
I have been watching you and precious little Rose for several years now. Rose always makes me smile even when I’m sad. I thanked the Lord that He I is healing her and she’ll be with us for many more years. Jennifer you take care of yourself now. I enjoy having you and Steve in my home every morning.
Steve, if you will privately send me a proper address, I would like to help you with Rose’s very large vet bill.

Hi Jennifer, Steve and sweet sweet Rose,
Im so sorry you went through such a difficult time. My heart just ached when I heard what you have experienced. So traumatizing! I can fully understand your state of mind for the past weeks and of course nothing felt right. Thank you for sharing this with us. It is good to see and hear you guys laugh a little and to see Rose doing her thing, slowly getting better and stronger! Good job you guys, for taking care of her so well.
As for getting back to some art, woah ! That’s a really beautiful and inspiring coloring page. Thanks for the free download and I hope to manage doing something even half as good as yours. Bravo, you are getting back your mojo!
Take care of all of you!
    💕Marie
