I do most of my coloring on greeting cards that I stamp. A trick I use to see if something is the same color, or would be a good blending color with another, is to use a hole punch to make a small hole in my swatches. Then I can put the other swatch underneath to compare color or match color families.

I have just started collecting the Luminance pencils. I only have 9 so far. I also find them kind of chalky but still enjoy using them. I followed your tutorial on how to create gems and put it to use in my newly purchased Bliss mandala book on black paper. My family thought I had purchased glass gems and pasted them on the paper. Fabulous tutorial. Sadly, I stay away from all social media so am limited on entries. Love your channel. Always learn something new.

I have never ever been so hopeful of a chance of winning something. I could never afford to have these pencils. I have a few and I would love to have them as my main pencils set. Hi Jennifer, Steve, & little rose, you’ve taught me so much, have given me so much knowledge and joy. and have passed on your love of coloring to me. I am disabled (kyphoscoliosis), copd, on oxygen, 24/7. Have had 18 operations on my joints & spine. Because of my medical history I am now living with my son and his family. I stared out scrapbooking, then cardmaking. Now I enjoy coloring. I’ve used watercolor paints, and other mediums. But my favorite is colored pencils.I just love what they can do. My income is low because of my disabilities and have not been able to buy the luminance colored pencils. It would answer a prayer if I could ever win them. I’ve heard so much about them
On you tube. I don’t have the gift of drawing like you do. Jen, you have such a beautiful gift. You are so talented. I can’t draw well, but you are teaching me all about coloring and I’m trying. Because of my disability I’m unable to work for years now I’ve been disabled and coloring has kept my mind busy. But I’m unable to work due to the 18 operations I’ve had On my joints and my spine. I would LOVE to win these colored pencils. I know these colored pencils are Very expensive – even the open stock of colored pencils (check out dickblick.com. – I know it’s a shameful name bomb, but, that’s the only place I know of that sells the Caran d’Ache Luminence brand in both sets and open stock.)
You both do an amazing job either in teaching how to color, giving us a Lot of coloring pages to color, or creating the swatch charts. It’s a lot hard work, but in the end, you guys bring the best to us. Thank You!

went to help my daughter in Switzerland for 3 months. She has the Caran d’Ache 6901 pencils and they are beautiful, I was able to try them and they are more than very beautiful and very good for coloring. Now I’m back home and would love to win these. Thanks to you two.

Yay, I’d love to win these. Just finished a coloring page with a smaller set of prismacolor scholars. I used some of the up and replaced them with the premiere version. What a difference!

I don’t know why my comment didn’t post, but I just wanted to say thank you for such a great opportunity. I lost nearly all of my art supplies and sketch/Coloring books when my Lyme disease got so bad and I lost my home and my storage unit that had ALL of my supplies/artworks in it. I’ve s-l-o-w-l-y been building my collection back up, but the luminance set is just too much to replace. It would literally mean the world to me to have the chance to have a set again. This was certainly enlightening. I haven’t tried either of these pencil brands yet, but it’s interesting to see how many different points of interest you compare between them. When these sets are this expensive, it really helps to see someone review them like this.
