I actually don’t have that brand of colored pencils. But this last year with my PFD check (I’m an Alaskan) I was able to invest in all of the Black Widow Pencil sets getting a complete collection. Including the dark & light skin tone sets. I took them out of there tins and mixed the entire collection into a large pencil case putting them all in color order, each shade from dark to light & light to dark so that they blend from color to color.. organizing them from red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, peaches, light to dark Skin tones, brown, grey, white, black. Took me three days to swatch them all out and sort them properly…..

I’m currently coloring in my Prismacolor Tri-Tone book. It’s a long process, but I’m enjoying it!

HI, I love all the various pens and pencils and items you present. Lately, I’ve been using some Der Went metallic pencils with my Prisma color pencils on coloring pages and like the added interest to my pictures. I tend to mix my pencil sets when I can’t find the exact color I want, and have had mixed results. Most of the time they work well, but occasionally I have results I don’t expect and don’t like. I haven’t tried the Karin pens at all yet, but am interested.

I used to spend so much time searching and scribbling to figure out which colors to use thst sometimes i wouldn’t get started. The worksheets have made it so much more organized and easier to set up. I’ve also become a lot better using colors not that I have some kind of system in place.
