I would love to have a completed set of pencils. Now I have dibs and dabs of several sets and I have no idea how to mix them as some are oil and some are wax and neither acts the same as the other! I would like to have ONE set that I know how to use!!!

I love Prisma, and am fortunate enough to have most of mine from a vintage Berol set…. when I have to buy modern replacements, I cry a bit inside, because I know the quality just isn’t the same. I am so excited for this giveaway! I started my color pencil journey with Crayola pencils, and then Castle Arts and I just got a set of Prismacolor premier 150 pencils …. (Although some would suggest they might be a ‘fake’ as I got them on Temu….). I ordered a 12 pencil set from Dick Blick of the Derwants, the Faber Castel AND ‘real’ prismacolors….. oh how exciting. Who knew there was so much difference between pencils… I didnt until I met you! Thanks again!

My name is Poulami, and I am mom to my 10 years old shepherd mix dog, Pico, and to some fifty species of houseplants strewn around my apartment. I am also a PhD student working her way through the final throes of her dissertation research study. 🙂
Towards the end of 2023, I picked up a basic 24 pack set of Artists’ Loft colored pencils on pure whim and created a colored pencil drawing of a green and pink Caladium leaf that I had photographed earlier. It was a rather amateur piece of art, but I loved the process of getting to the end result. So, I started researching colored pencils and techniques for using colored pencils on Google and YouTube. That is where I came across your beautiful world of Coloring Bliss.
I remember watching your Crayola Markers Coloring on Watercolor Paper as my first encounter of your amazing content. Having watched the video in its entirety, I bought myself a pack of the Crayola Super Tips markers, which I am enjoying to this day. 🙂
A PhD program is long and uphill; one that is full of myriad stressors, both professional and personal. In the last several months, I have used my colored pencils as well as my markers as a coping mechanism to combat some of the stresses I deal with daily. I do want to add that I watch your YouTube content frequently through my work weeks and weekends, not just to learn from you, but also as a means to find positivity and inspiration in my daily life. I just ordered my very first set of Prismacolor Premier pencils (24 pack) yesterday and cannot wait to get started coloring with them. Someday I would love to own the full set of Prismacolor Premier, Derwent Chromaflow and the Faber Castell colored pencils. 🙂

Wow this is an exciting give away. Prismacolors are hard to get in the UK plus very expensive. I bought a full set from Temu and kept my fingers crossed that they were the real deal. I must admit I am very impressed with them but still have a small niggle at the back of my mind if they are real or fake.

I am a new colorist and I am still trying to save enough for a FS of PC’s! Financially has been devastating lately. I’ve been out of work and Ive been living at Boston Children’s Hospital for weeks and both me and my daughter have taken up coloring to pass the time. 🥰🥰 (Thanks for all you do. Seriously! You’ve helped us get thru a really rough time. Both you and Steve. ) But anyways. nowwwww I’m so confused!!!!!! Should I get the Derwents now instead when Im able!? Instead of the PC’s!! Help!! (Maybe I’ll win and be able to have both!) lol.

Have just started ( w/in the last year ) to put color to sketches. My daughter is already a pretty good colorist, and learning from her, too. Have been kinda disappointed w/ Prismacolor pencils, because of the ‘sweat factor.’ Shannon, my daughter has some experience w/ old Mexican Prismacolor pencils, and disappointed w/ the U.S. version, as well and she LOVES the Derwent products, and imho much easier to work with…now to either wait for the ‘giveaway’ or save my pennies for the full set!

As a European, I was SO happy to hear from you how the Chromaflows have been improved! The initial reviews did not seem promising at all… But Derwent seem to be serious about making a real competitor for Prismas — at least here in Europe. And even if right now not all of the colours are available open stock, my guess is that they will expand it to all of the 150 colours.

Hi,
I really love my Chromaflow pencils, and of course my Prismacolors. I can’t decide yet which is my favorite. I have a new full set and a full used set of Prismacolors, but I only have a few Chromaflows and they are pretty special to me. I’ve been saving them for my own artwork, not my coloring. I use mostly the Kalour set of pencils and my Brutfuners when coloring. I go through pencils so fast when I work on my coloring pages it seems to expensive to use my artist quality pencils for the coloring. Coloring in the coloring books is my Art Therapy, for physical therapy really, so I go through a lot of broken leads too, as I regain my hand control.

Prismacolor pencil our actually great because of the beautiful blending and how pigmented is it I’ve never try and I’m actually planning to buy it I’ve seen so many videos about prisma marker so that’s why I get this idea about how it works and if it’s good.

Im so excited about the Derwent Chromaflows give away. I have a small few. My favorite is Prismacolors Pencils. I enjoy watching you swatch all the new pencils and markers. I ordered the Tri-Tone worksheets for the Black Widows. I cut out all the coloring tool circles and found that a 1in punch worked great for cutting out the small circles.
