I am just learning, but is denim blue (1101) the correct color on the prisma color primier wheel for blue-violet?
Yes, that’s the color that looked closest to me and Steve. However, if you feel a different color works better, go for it! 🙂

I watched the “how to Organize colored pencils”(Prisma color premier) And found this book and already have it! I also put everything else you mentioned in that video on Amazon(I on a list And have already finished it) Thank you so much!!!
I think this is very cool idea. I really wish it had light/medium/dark combos for the browns and grays (other neutrals) though, as that’s what I have the most trouble with.

Hi Natalie, that would be the “Quick Color Picker” here: https://www.coloringbliss.com/quick-color-picker-training/ This is our full-color generic color picker that you can use with any art tool. We don’t have a Prismacolor-specific version that is colored.

I cannot separate my pages to print them On a big sheet separately . I have to transfer the file on my husband laptop to print and we have both been fighting to print individual sheets. We are two old ones with very basic knowledge of computor . Is the a way that I can get the pages as an attachment one by one. Can some help me pls. Thank you.

Hello Jennifer, Steve and Rose! First I want to say THANK YOU for all the hard work you put in to this learning tool. Wow! I’m so impressed and I’m learning so much about color schemes. I downloaded the entire book and I’m almost done with the swatching. I’ve always enjoyed coloring since I was a child. I use color in my journals and other arts and crafts. This is a valuable tool for anyone who is interested in becoming a colorist and I sure do appreciate having it handy. Thanks again and I’m so glad I decided to join the Coloring Bliss Academy.

As a massive fan of Art and Crafts of all kinds my whole life, I have always struggled with colors.
Although this was a very technical tutorial, I did figure out I lean more to Colors + Black. However, I am learning to add more bright colors to my work through watching you YouTube channel.
I always catch a nugget that catches my attention and have to rewind to listen, watch, and pay closer attention to the nugget of detail.

Hi, Jennifer and Steve! I am wondering why did you change some of the tri tone colors after 2023? I am confused? I am just wondering…I have the previous tri tone book and if I knew it was going to change I would have waited to order the new one…. I feel like I wasted money then since it changed. (I don’t have a printer of my own right now) so I ordered thinking that was your go to and now it changed again. Can you please let me know? I am also excited to receive the coloring cards I have ordered recently to go with the mandala cards I ordered. I have been the highest tier for a while now. I am just wondering if you could explain why the tri tones you had set before changed?… I love your videos and as for your latest video I would love to see more color alongs and watching you color in real time picking colors.
Hi Andrea, Prismacolor discontinued a couple of colors in 2023 that affected our tri-tones, so we had to make some changes. So using the original prisma colors with the book that you have works jsut fine. In fact, if you were to get the new book you would need to purchase open stock the two pencils that they changed. And then, any time we make changes to our tri-tone books we also update them with our latest color schemes and charts, so the 2023 book got that as well.
