Download Prismacolor color charts! If you own the Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils 150 Set then you know that the color order the company puts the pencils in isn’t ideal. I like to organize my colored pencils in color wheel order, from warm to cool–this makes it easier for me to find cohesive colors that will make beautiful colored pencil blends. So Steve and I spent hours swatching and re-swatching the Prismacolor 150 set to get it in the perfect color order for how I like to color.
If you would like to organize your Prismacolor pencils in the same order, we have made two free swatch charts for you to download below. One chart contains all 150 colors on a single page; the other contains all 150 colors spread across 4 pages so you get larger swatch squares, plus room for both the pencil names and numbers.
Also new for 2022, we have update our Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils Tri-Tone Workbook with updated swatch charts and new color schemes! Check that out below.

What is different about these? I bought some in oct . Just now getting around to filling them in. How are the new ones different? Would you suggest doing both of them?
Thank you so much for your work in organizing and making these charts!
It is appreciated beyond measure!! 🙂 <3
Really interesting resource as I continue to learn more about color and about Prismacolors in particular. I would love to see a video that delved into the new color order a little more to answer questions like how you came to use this order and what the various square border thicknesses mean, and most of all how to use this order to help in choosing colors for a picture. Love your videos so much and thank you for providing us with so many free tools.
I agree. 🙂
Thank you SOOOO much for your time & effort in making these charts for us! Love them!!
Hi Jennifer I was just wondering if you could do a small video on tri-tones for the 36 count set nobody has done one that I can find on youtube or anywhere else. I know it’s small and probably a waste of your time but it is all I have.
Thankyou,
Amanda Brown
Thank you

Thanks Jen for your help on color charts and I’m still trying to figure out how to match up swatches with pencils
Im looking for a colored pencil canvas holder. One of your videos showed the one you use because it holds 3 pencils at a time. Unfortunately I didn’t get the name and can’r remember which video it was in. I need to know the name and where you found it. Thank you
Love how you put the colors into groups. Great job. Thank you. V
