I had a feeling I would fall under Crafty Colorist. I like to try all sorts of mediums when I color. I’ve been coloring for a while.
Thank you so much! Very informative.
Hello Jennifer and Steve.
I downloaded the 6 Types of Colorists and found it very enlightening. I am Theraputic, Craftsy-Artsy, Creatively Unsatisfied and despite being an art teacher for 26 years, Introverted. The hints and tips for each type are great.
This will help me grow as a colorist now that I am retired and have more time to be creative at home.
Thank you both for all your work.
Carol J
Thank you! I guess I am all 6 types rolled into one!
I’m therapeutic/ craftsy/ artistically injured: coloring is healing and encouraging for me – swatching new colors is soothing, I’m learning to be kind when I make “mistakes” and appreciate the process, as well as try new tools and explore other forms of art. Your videos have helped me have fun without being frustrated (and save money on supplies with a tiny budget). Thank you.
Hi Jennifer,
I downloaded the PDF for what type of colorist I am. I’m not too surprised, as I am a combination of 5 of them. The only one I’m not is Extroverted. Coloring is something that helps me through difficult times and I’ve experienced a lot of that recently. Thank you for making coloring so enjoyable and fun.
I’m Therapeutic, Artsy-Craftsy, & Extroverted. Not surprising for the most part. Extroverted might be pushing it a little. But, I do like to share my work and work on projects or hobbies with others of like minds. Unfortunately, it’s not easy to find anymore. I do find myself giving away products to entice others to come play. But, that doesn’t work too well either. I can be just as happy with my own company and I have the online groups and videos. So, it’s all good!
Hello
I am responding to “Which Type I Am” question. After reading thru the differing types I believe I am closet to the Introverted type. I am retired but love the enjoyment of Sketching things. Recently my Daughter gave me a Coloring Book along with Color Pencils as a birthday present. After a few days I decided to try a one picture. I believe I got hooked. I watched you on You Tube and thought I would order your book and learn a little more about this.
Thank You and I enjoy watching you on You Tube.
this is the worst thing ever.
