I recently did a couple of videos showcasing the brand new Blick Studio Brush Marker colors–released in 2020. They include 47 new colors and when added to original 96 bring the grand total of Blick brush markers to 143.
With the release of the these new colors, Steve and I have also updated our free swatch chart and tri-tone workbooks! See below for links to each of these updated products.
We found that the new colors include a lot of lighter colors in blue and red hues. You will also notice that all new color numbers begin above 100 (all of the old color numbers were below 100.) So that’s another way to quickly identify the new colors.
With these new colors we revisited our tri-tone picks and found that there were several we felt gave us better lights, mediums and darks. So we have CHANGED 2/3rds of our tri-tone picks!
